Introducing the 3008 SUV
The first version of the Peugeot 3008 SUV took on the role as a very popular and practical five-seater people carrier but, as the automotive industry has taken a real shine to the trend of the SUV, things have changed. It’s tagline ‘Motion and Emotion’ represents the pure thought and ingenuity that goes into their designs, something which is very apparent in the new all-new Peugeot 3008 SUV. These are very exciting times as the new 3008 SUV hits UK roads, having received amazingly successful reviews following the European release, it’s already established itself as a key contender in its class, and has been announced the winner of European Car of the Year at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show! It is the first ever SUV to have ever won this award, and to give you an idea of just how much of achievement this is, the panel is pretty impressive and is made of 58 European Journalists!

What can it do?
A complex, hybrid of a car. This crossover can literally transform itself from a family car to an all-terrain trailblazer at the flick of a switch. The additions such as Hill Assist Descent Control and Grip Control are just some of the adaptive elements that help carry you through any terrain safely. Where space is concerned this crossover is top in its class, offering more than ample room even for the taller of passengers! And, with space, comes flexibility. Ride in comfort solo, impress a passenger or get the whole family in and ready for a more than comfortable adventure!
With all this fancy technology and much-deserved accolades, it's easy to forget that it is also a really functional vehicle which is great for everyday use. Peugeot has successfully not compromised the functionality of the vehicle. One of the more standout features of the vehicle is its boot, with a smart electric tailgate. Imagine, approaching your car with arms full of shopping, balancing bags against legs and feet to awkwardly open the boot… We’ve all been there! Well, the 3008 SUV allows hands-free access with a simple motion of your foot under the back bumper, and keyless entry means the fumbling and dropping of everything you’re carrying is a thing of the past.
The completely flat load bay doubles up as a great place to sit and change shoes or perhaps even as a makeshift changing table for a child. It has numerous tethering points, netting and a 12V charging point! And to top it off the boot is a whopping 520 litres with the seats UP, so you don’t have to worry about space when you’ve got a car full, but if needed the seats literally fold themselves down at the pull of a handle and there is also an adjustable floor… and, there's actually more, there is a sliding boot floor that can hold up to 100kg, which is a great help when loading heavier objects or even as a picnic seat. So the boot pretty much covers any and all aspects, including the added option of Peugeots e-kick folding scooter! The interior comes with a ridiculous amount of cubby space too, large front door bins, a vast and air conditioned storage area under the armrest, cup holders and a mobile phone tray are just a few of the highlights! It also comes with three Isofix mounting points, with two in the back and one in the front passenger seat.

What we’re trying to say, is that this vehicle is pretty phenomenal. Royalty amidst the category, crowned with awards and recognition even before its release. But it is also important to not forget that the vehicle is so very well adapted to everyday life, not just luxuries. It’s a truly awesome inspiring family car.
