Japanese manufacturer Honda has scooped the coveted “Which?” Car Survey’s most reliable 4x4 with the CR-V, prevailing as the king of consistency in the UK. Compiling the feedback of over 49 000 drivers on 283 leading models, the CR-V achieved a reliability score of over 98.5%, hitting annual repair costs of only £10 on average.
This success is the latest in a long history of accolades, adding to perhaps the most notable achievement of topping the “What Car and Warranty Direct Reliability” Survey for the 8th time in 2013, a fete unprecedented.
Considering multiple factors, Which? measured overall reliability through gauging faults reported, days off the road and the number of reported breakdowns over a twelve month period. Reflecting a reputation steeped in delivering consistent quality, the Honda CR-V prevailed through outscoring other rival SUVs.
Blending the sophistication of a bigger car experience with the economy of an urban high performer, the CR-V redefines class expectations. Central to Honda’s perception-bending advert for the 1.6 i-DTEC, the CR-V epitomises the achievement of more miles for less fuel, the “impossible made possible”. Luxuriously styled with bold, fluid lines, the power of this SUV is commanded through its appearance, with the interior keeping you driving in comfort. Space? With the boot increasing on past models by 147 litres to a whopping 589 litres, neatly adjusted to over 1600 when the rear seats are folded, the CR-V is the must have family car that is ideal for camping expeditions. Reliability, punchy engine performance and with flexible space in abundance, Which? Car really did get it right!
Stocking the entire range, from the 1.6 i-DTEC to the 2.2 i-DTEC EX, Howards Honda are proud to work closely in association with this prestigious brand.
