Hello everybody. I'm Boris. And today I'm here at Howards Hyundai to review the Hyundai IONIQ. First of all let's have a chat about style, because that is one of the few things that you identify first in a vehicle

Video Transcript

Now the front-end of it looks quite squat, quite sporty and ready to go somewhere. But what's really interesting is the back. It slopes away and it looks quite elegant. But concealed underneath that nice design is a massive amount of boot space. As you can see I fit in here quite comfortably and not to mention the fact that this boot is very deep as well, which is crucial. I mean, I can easily imagine somebody fitting maybe 3 or 4 good medium sized suitcases in here. Or perhaps 1 or 2 weeks worth of shopping.

And that is really what this vehicle is all about getting the most for your money. Hyundai even write on their website that this isn't about being showy or speedy. No. It's about giving people good quality for their money. And there's no doubt that they've done that.

With its hybrid engine this can go up to 78.5-miles per gallon. That's ridiculously fuel efficient! However just because the IONIQ takes a rather Spartan approach towards fuel consumption and tries to conserve as much as possible. This doesn't necessarily mean that they have taken the same attitude towards the interior. In fact far from it.

Everything is very well designed. I especially love the blue accent lines that they use throughout the vehicle to give it a little bit of flavour, colour and some sort of personality. We have plenty of features including Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Of course there's a Bluetooth function. We have a wireless charging pad for your phone, USP and AUX inputs as well as a two 12-volt plugs.

So there we have it. With its sleek lines, it's squat forward momentum looking kind of front-end and these very elegant alloy wheels. There is no doubt that this vehicle looks fantastic. And with things like Apple Car Play and Android Auto, as well as dusk sensing automatic headlights there is no shortage of useful, practical, functional tech.

That is in short the Hyundai IONIQ hybrid. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you've enjoyed this video. Make sure to give our guys a call at Howards Hyundai to book a test drive in this awesome vehicle.

We'll see you guys very shortly.
Take care.
Goodbye.

  • Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allow Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.

All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
