Safety features

Safe Exit Warning (SEW)
SEW senses any vehicle approaching from the while parked, sends you a warning alert, and keeps the child lock engaged- preventing rear passengers from getting out. When the vehicles have passed, the passengers will be free to exit safely.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
FCA 1.5 gives you added reassurance and helps you to avoid any potential collisions with pedestrians, cyclists, and othr cars on the road- including when turning at a junction. If you are not applying the brakes hard enough to avoid a collision, your Picanto will do it automatically. The new Picanto is fitted with 1.0 or 1.5, depending on the trimline.

Driver attention warning plus
DAW+ monitors the driver steering and acceleration pattern to detect if you're losing concentration and alerts you with a warning sound and a coffee cup symbol in the cluster. A leading vehicle departure warning also notifies you when the vehicle ahead is driving away in traffic.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)
ISLA gives you all the necessary information to help you stay within the speed limits. Using the camera on the windscreen, it reads speed limits and overtaking restrictions, and displays the information clearly on the navigation screen and cluster.
