Peugeot has designed their technology so you can benefit from both worlds, combining electric and petrol engines. They have even added energy recovery when braking or decelerating across all driving modes.

Electric Driving Mode

Peugeot has made this their default setting. As soon as you get in and start your engine you are in electric driving mode. This gives you the benefit of using 100% electric power, providing a quiet driving experience.

Hybrid Driving Mode

Put your driving in the hands of Peugeot’s onboard computer. By selecting Hybrid driving mode you are giving control to the on-board computer to choose which driving mode is right for your current driving experience. It monitors your driving style and the roads you are driving on. This way it will switch between electric and petrol power, making your driving more efficient.

Sport Driving Mode

Go all out, this mode utilises all the power available from both engines. So it combines the 100% electric engine with the petrol engine power giving you increased torque. The SUV Hybrid4 can reach a combined power of 300-hp. Now that will push you back into your seat when you hit the accelerator.

Comfort Driving Mode

For that leisurely drive switch to Comfort mode. Within this mode, the Hybrid mode is selected and activates the use of the active suspension. This active suspension provides increased comfort on the road while gripping the road’s surface.

How To Recharge Your Hybrid Car?

Peugeot has designed its plug-in hybrid system to make your life easy, this also applies to re-charging the system too. To locate your charging port just open the charging flap located on the left side of the vehicle within the rear wing. The charging cable that comes with the vehicle has its own storage area. You can find your charging cable located in the boot, under the boot floor.

When charging your Plug-In Hybrid car you may wonder how are you going to know the charging progress? Well, Peugeot has designed a series of colours that light up and indicate the progression of the charging process.

Let us break down the charging time depending on your Peugeot model. You will need to buy an accessory cable if you wish to charge from a domestic socket, as we do not recommend this as a daily charging solution.

  • 0-100% charge in 5-hours charge time for a 2.3kW on a domestic socket (Mode 2 charging)

  • 0-100% charge in less than 4-hours charge time for a 3.7kW with the standard onboard charger

  • 0-100% charge in less than 2-hours charge time for a 7.4kW with the optional upgrade onboard charger

Charging from a Type 2 (Mode 3) dedicated electric vehicle charging point is the recommended way to charge your vehicle on a daily basis. This cable is provided as standard with the vehicle.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
