                                             UK HOME DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS


Howards Group offer a 14-day money back policy on the purchase of your vehicle. The 14 days commence from the day on which delivery takes place and is inclusive of weekends and bank holidays. The 14-day money back policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory consumer rights. It should not be considered as an alternative to your short term right to reject a vehicle, due to a breach of your core rights at the point of purchase under your statutory consumer rights. To serve notice of your intention to invoke this cancellation you must write to us on the address shown on the invoice or via email to [email protected]

There is a duty of care for you to return your vehicle in the same condition to which it was delivered. We will inspect the goods at the time of return and reserve the right to charge you any amounts required to return the vehicle to its condition at the time of delivery.

A usage charge will be applied relating to the mileage that the vehicle has been driven under your ownership, representing the increase in miles during the period between delivery of the vehicle to you and the subsequent return of the vehicle, as evidenced by the odometer at the time of return and the original mileage as documented at the point of delivery. The mileage charge will be;

0-150 MILES            No charge

OVER 150 MILES     £1 per each additional mile over 150 miles

If we agree to recover the vehicle, we reserve the right entirely at our own discretion to charge a collection fee that will reflect our costs of collection.

All documentation provided with the vehicle at time of delivery must be returned at the same time as collection or return.


If your vehicle is subject to an FCA/CCA regulated Finance Agreement it will be settled in full by the Howards Group with the balance of funds paid directly to you.

It will be the responsibility of the claimant to reclaim refunds due from the unexpired portion of any insurance regulated product shown on the vehicle sales invoice, or any supplementary invoice raised against the sale of the vehicle.

In all cases, the vehicle sales invoice will be the document used to refer to this money-back guarantee.

    Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

    Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
