In a choice of 15 colours, the vehicle is designed with advanced aerodynamics for a striking design. The front of the vehicle features powerful LED headlights, framing the signature V motion grille. At the rear of the vehicle, boomerang shaped taillights are fitted for a stunning appearance. To top it off, the vehicle is completed by the large, panoramic sunroof for those hot summer days.

A new addition to the Nissan X-Trail is the extended opening capabilities of the rear doors, which open much further than the typical vehicle. Implemented with the aim to make everyday pursuits less difficult by allowing easier access for passengers and to improve loading capabilities.

How does each powertrain option operate?

e-POWER
This profound technology uses a petrol engine to charge the battery, and that runs the electric motor and powers the wheels. This means you never need to recharge your vehicle.

This method creates a smoother driving experience and provides instant torque, while producing significiantly less emissions and to keep running costs far lower than the tradtional combustion engine. Nissan has incorporated a regenerative braking system on the vehicle. Every time the driver presses the brake, the kinetic energy is transferred into electrical energy, increasing fuel efficiency within the vehicle.

Mild Hybrid
The Nissan Mild Hybrid technology uses a petrol engine to power the vehicle, but also uses a lithium battery to provide support. The stop-start technology has been carefully designed to create a more efficient engine, by turning it off during coasting, or at speeds under 11mph when the driver's foot is taken off the pedals.

e-POWER & e-4ORCE AWD
Offering 0-62mph in just 7 seconds, e-4ORCE All-Wheel Drive will deliver a more reassuring accelarative experience in all conditions. With two electric motors, one at either end of the vehicle, weight distribution is made almost perfect. e-4ORCE is able to control the torque and braking for each wheel independently, meaning it can prioritise certain wheels when needed.
