The release of the new Peugeot 2008 Crossover sees style blended with space and efficiency. Peugeot have built upon the design and success of the Peugeot 208 super mini to create a car with more style that brings Peugeot back to its roots in terms of its design. The Peugeot 2008 Crossover was unveiled earlier this year at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show where it was praised for its looks and efficiency.
Eric Dejou, 208 Design Manager for Peugeot said “Creating the 2008 was a great challenge but we had a very precise idea of the vehicle that we wanted to offer customers. The style brought to life in an early phase did not require any major modifications up until production. The first sketch was perfect”.
The Peugeot 2008 Crossover utilises the latest technology to provide a clean and efficient engine, which stands out from its rivals with CO2 emissions starting at 98g/km and an incredible fuel economy that can be as high as 61.8mpg.
With six air bags and cruise control on all models, safety is a key feature. Every 2008 comes with with Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR), Stability Control (CDS),Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD).
