Howards are excited to support Weston Hospicecare once again for this years Mendip Challenge!

Howards Motor Group once again stepped up as the headline sponsor of Weston Hospicecare's flagship Mendip Challenge on June 1st 2025, reinforcing a long-standing partnership dedicated to supporting compassionate end-of-life care in the local community.

One of the largest annual fundraisers for the hospice, the Mendip Challenge features participants trekking across the scenic Mendip Hills with route distances ranging from 5 to 30 miles. Thanks in part to Howards' continued support, event entry included a branded water bottle for every walker - part of an eco-conscious initiative to eliminate plastic cups at hydration checkpoints.

Howards staff have actively participated, with a handful of colleagues from the company joining the walk.

Weston Hospicecare only receives 18% of its funding from the NHS. This means that the majority of their financial support comes from the generosity of individuals and local communities.
