Ski Slopes, Snow Tracks, and e-4ORCE: Nissan's Trailblazing Rescue

Discover Nissan's X-Trail Mountain Rescue, a testament to the prowess of e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology, showcasing its extraordinary traction capabilities on European ski slopes.

In a bold display of innovation and versatility, Nissan takes its cutting-edge e-4ORCE all-wheel drive technology to the heart of European ski slopes with the specially modified X-Trail Mountain Rescue vehicle.

The X-Trail Mountain Rescue stands as a testament to Nissan's dedication to pushing the boundaries of conventional driving experiences. Equipped with snow tracks replacing traditional wheels, the vehicle ensures confident traction on slippery slopes, making it an ideal companion for rescue missions in snow-covered mountainous regions.

The removal of rear seats facilitates the installation of a stretcher, allowing injured skiers to be transported seamlessly to the nearest medical facility, accompanied by a seat for a medical professional.

Externally, the X-Trail Mountain Rescue boasts a bespoke roof rack designed to carry essential rescue equipment, including an evacuation stretcher and snow shovels. The vehicle features a siren, flashing light bar, and powerful roof-mounted lights, enhancing visibility in challenging weather conditions.

Wider fenders and a reinforced towing hook at the front and rear, along with foot boards on the sides, further contribute to the vehicle's adaptability in rugged environments.

The true star of this showcase is Nissan's e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system, which powers the X-Trail Mountain Rescue with unparalleled efficiency and control. The system, unique in its ability to react to changing levels of grip in a fraction of a second, offers a level of traction and stability that is essential in rescue operations on challenging terrains. This technology exemplifies Nissan's commitment to delivering not just a vehicle but a comprehensive solution tailored for specific needs.

The X-Trail Mountain Rescue's presence on European ski slopes is part of Nissan's broader "Ride Responsibly" campaign, promoting courteous slope etiquette and safety.

Digital signs strategically placed in ski resorts encourage snow riders to slow down at intersections, reducing the risk of collisions. The X-Trail Mountain Rescue, displayed at the popular Italian ski resort of Cervinia, becomes a tangible representation of responsible winter sports practices, combining safety with cutting-edge automotive technology.

This initiative aligns with Nissan's broader vision of utilizing technology not just for convenience but for creating safer, more efficient, and reliable transportation solutions that cater to diverse needs and environments.

Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allow Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
