On our Facebook and Twitter pages in May we gave away a
Pet Pamper Hamper as part of National Pet Month. The lucky winner was Alison
Davies in Bristol, who was delighted to hear that the photo of her dogs Otis
and Basil had been selected as the winning entry.
As an avid dog lover, Alison is heavily involved in a
number local dog charity initiatives and has decided to donate her prize to
raise funds at an upcoming event for the Mutts With Friends Charity, a
non-profit dog rescue that is dedicated to helping unwanted and abandoned dogs
in the surrounding areas of Bristol and Bath.
Howards is really pleased that the prize is going to do
some good for our four-legged friends and as we have many staff who are pet
owners within our dealerships, we think Mutts with Friends is a superb
organisation and we look forward to hearing about the event’s success.
The hamper, which includes a selection of dog-friendly
gifts and treats such as Herbal Dog Tea and Breakfast Crunch, will form part of
a raffle at animal
rehabilitation centre Chapel Farm, with the winner announced at the Chapel Farm Dog Show,
taking place on the 23rd of August. All proceeds of the show and
raffle will be donated to Mutts With Friends.
