Reasons Why You Should Purchase Citroën’s DS3

The popular head turning Citroen DS3 was the first car to be created under the ‘DS’ premium badge. Since it first debuted on the car market five years ago, it has gained a respectable reputation and is a strong contender on the city car and hatchback market, offering excellent affordability, reliability and practicality.

The DS3 is most recognised for its two-toned colour roof and body, which makes it so recognisable on the road. The model comes with a huge collection of colour options, allowing its drivers to personalise their car to their personal taste as well as their unique driving requirements.

On the outside the DS3 is bold and strong, with a double chevron grille and shark fin style C pillars for a sporty stance. The eye-catching Xenon headlamps with LED light running elements to the front are paired with 3D tail lights to the rear, adding further to the model’s stylishly elegant exterior.

The interior of the DS3 is just as unique and impressive thanks to the eye catching full-width dashboard and glossy black centre console. Climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth and USB connectivity all come with the standard model. The comfortable cabin offers plenty of room for passengers and the driver, and the steering wheel can be adjusted to ensure it is within easy reach – an ideal added bonus if the car is to have multiple drivers.

There are two petrol engines available for the DS3; the 1.6 litre VTi with 120bhp and 1.2 litre VTi with 82bhp. If you prefer a diesel engine, the DS3 comes with a choice of either the 1.6 litre BlueHDi engine or 1.6 litre e-HDi with 90bhp, emitting just 95g/km CO2 emissions.
