Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER

Since its initial launch in 2007, Nissan have revolutionised the market and are now introducing a third-generation model, equipped with the Nissan exclusive e-POWER powertrain. You’re now looking at a muscular body style, LED lighting, 20inch alloy wheels, and more colour options than the previous model.

So, how does the e-POWER powertrain work?

With e-POWER, the petrol engine generates electricity, and in turn charges the battery and supplies the electric motor. This means that e-POWER offers an electrified vehicle acceleration and driving experience, without the need to plug in... and no range anxiety! It also exposes you to the smooth, quiet cocoon feeling associated with driving EVs to provide a unique superior driving experience.

The Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER has a cutting edge design that makes a bold statement, with the ultimate urban crossover design where the level of fit and finish is on par with premium brands. With the empowering and advanced technology fitted, you can see and sense more around and ahead of you to truly provide a superior driving experience.

The e-Pedal step is a key feature which also showcases efficiency; this increases regenerative breaking and gives you the option of one pedal control, so you can actively accelerate & decelerate through the accelerator pedal. You'll only need to touch the brake when you decide to stop. The regenerative breaking feature encourages the driver to react smoothly, and therefore efficiently, because it isn't at the same level as it would be in a purely electric car.

Furthermore, ProPILOT Park is also available. An advanced automated parking system that can perform a variety of parking maneuvers at a touch of a button, helping the driver to park in three quick steps by controlling the steering, accelerator, brakes, gear shift and parking brake.
Exterior Design

The Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER has gone through a dramatic upgrade. It’s increased in size, equalling more internal legroom. This doesn’t mean the exterior size proportions hinder city driving. The Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER still maintains that nimble driving ability around tight corners. The front grille is now showing off Nissan’s V-Motion grille. An angular C-shaped LED headlights to mold either side of the grille and draw your eye to the angular vented cut-out of the bumper. All in all, the Nissan Qashqai with e-POWER offers a muscular body shape with wider-looking arches.

Round to the rear of the car and you’ll notice the C-shaped angular rear light that molds around the rear quarter panels and into the boot lid. This is a seamless transition as you move to a centrally mounted Nissan badge. A high-mounted boot offers ease of loading when your hands are full.

Nissan Intelligent Mobility technology is in place to protect and assist you through everyday driving. Intelligent emergency braking sees objects you haven’t seen and applies the breaks. Intelligent forward collision warning keeps watch on not just the vehicle in front of you but also the vehicle in front of the next car. This is so it can detect early on a decrease in speed so the system can alert you to slow down. Intelligent lane intervention helps you stay in your lane if you’ve strayed outside of the white lines. Rear braking with pedestrian detection allows you to reverse with confidence. This system alerts you when you can’t see what in your way and applies the breaks. Intelligent airbags can be deployed in certain types of accidents. The central airbag location is designed to protect the driver and passenger from colliding.

Stay connected with Amazon Alexa and Google Assist allowing voice commands to flash your lights, check if your doors are locked. You won’t lose battery power while using these connected features with the wireless charging pas that Nissan has added. There is also in-car WiFi allowing all the family to stay connected on the journey.
