Is there a catch?

There are no ‘catches’ but there are some items that are excluded, and it’s best to know about these from the outset. You’ll be responsible for paying the following:

Fuel and consumables (such as screen wash)
Optional extras that are not fitted to your model of choice as standard
Any adaptations that require an additional payment
Insurance Excess – there is a minimum excess of £75 on any claim for loss or damage. This excess varies depending on the age and experience of the driver. Full details can be obtained on application.
Fines incurred due to breaching parking restrictions or through speeding

What is included with a Motability Scheme Vehicle?

We cover all the operational expenses listed below, leaving you with just the task of refuelling and hitting the road:

Insurance from RSA Motability
Servicing and maintenance Yearly Road Tax
Full RAC breakdown assistance
Tyre repair and replacement*
Windscreen repair or replacement
Three named drivers
60,000 mileage allowance over three year*
Many adaptations at no extra cost
Home chargepoint and installation or access to bp public chargepoints (for Electric vehicles)

If you already have a lease, nothing is changing right now. These updates will apply only to new orders on or after 1 July 2026

The mileage allowance will change from 60,000 miles over three years to 30,000 miles over three years.
Tyre cover will include up to six tyre replacements, with up to four for damage.
Customers travelling outside of the UK will need to request a VE103 certificate from the RAC and pay an admin fee before travel.
