    JOB DESCRIPTION

The apprenticeship is geared toward training the right candidate to become a fully-fledged  Sales professional with the opportunity to gain permanent employment within the Group.   You will start this exciting journey at Howards Kia, Taunton.

    But what does a Kia Sales Genius do? You will be responsible for excellent customer service, providing a friendly welcome to customers and ensuring that they have all the information needed, including specific information for electric vehicles.    You will complete product presentations, test drives and vehicle handovers, enhancing the customer experience at every point of contact.

    If you are under the age of 18 – you will work 40 hours per week and be expected to work weekends on a roster basis  – an important part of working in the retail environment.  Hours and pay will increase once you have completed your first 12 months of training and are 18.

    Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 3 Customer Service NVQ/Customer Service Specialist.   The training will take approximately 15 months.

    About you

    GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) essential.  No other formal qualifications required.

    Desired skills & Qualities

    You should be computer literate, well organised, able to deal with different types of customers, follow instructions and think logically; working in a busy and fast paced environment.   Driving licence or ability to obtain driving licence necessary.

    Training to be provided

    With mentoring, support and monitoring whilst at work, plus off site residential training, you will gain the knowledge and skills required to achieve the qualification from working with some highly skilled professionals.

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    Age: 16+     Prior Attainment: GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (Predicted grades considered).
