A self-charging hybrid experience
The intelligent e:HEV self-charging hybrid powertrain automatically selects from three drive modes: Electric, Hybrid, or Engine.
Electric Drive is the default mode and delivers instant acceleration from standing, almost silent cruising, and 100% electric drive. The Hybrid Drive combines the petrol engine and two electric motors for highly efficient performance. Engine Drive uses the petrol engine to maintain higher speeds and charges the battery while doing so. Excess energy is stored for future deployment in Electric or Hybrid models.
