    C-HR Event Held At Silverstone

    This week our Howards Toyota team were lucky enough to attend the CH-R in Motion event held at the Silverstone Race Circuit.

This week our Howards Toyota team were lucky enough to attend the CH-R in Motion event held at the Silverstone Race Circuit.

The event attracted excited Toyota employees from all over the country who had the opportunity to experience all 3 of the new CH-R models; the 1.2 Turbo petrol Manual, 1.2 Automatic & 1.8 Hybrid. Also at the event was the CH-R’s main competitors from the C segment - the Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Golf.

C-HR Test Drive At Silverstone

Toyota wanted their employee’s to get the same experience as customers and the best way to do this was to give them a chance to test drive both the Qashqai and Golf, so they can see how much more the all-new CH-R has to offer. This way, everyone could compare the handling, speed and comfort to see what the C-HR provides and how well it performs against its rivals.

The afternoon ended with a drag race, where employees raced and drove the Hybrid C-HR and Nissan Qashqai around a course with cones and sharp turns. Everyone also participated in teaching sessions run by experts at Toyota, who discussed the concepts behind the new crossover such as style, Hybrid system, quality, dynamics and drive.

Steffi Vaughan who attended the event on behalf of Howards said “We had the exciting opportunity to experience the all new C-HR first hand at Silverstone Race Circuit. Having seen pre-launch material and images in the run up to this event, the C-HR definitely exceeded all expectations and has left me extremely excited for its future.”.

The Japanese car manufacturer hasn't compromised on a single thing when creating and designing the all-new C-HR. It’s been tuned and refined to premium standards - they’re proud and excited to launch it.

We have had demonstrators of this crossover arrive this week at Howard's, we suggest you come and take a look at the model and book a test drive in advance, so you can experience the same thrill our Toyota team did at Silverstone.
