This year Peugeot is celebrating 120 years of light commercial vehicle production with their popular Partner van. To mark the occasion the model will be getting a facelift and is expected to make its grand debut at next month’s Commercial Vehicle show in Birmingham, alongside other models from the award-winning LCV range, before hitting showrooms in June.
As the UK’s favourite LCV, the Partner is also one of the most popular compact vans on the market today. Having been around since 1996, its practical one-box body style has fulfilled many business users’ requirements when it comes to providing efficiency and robustness on the road.

The new upgraded model will include new advanced technology as well as improved safety features and an updated engine range. Inside there will be a host of new equipment on offer, including a tyre pressure warning system and Hill Start Assist.
Speed Limiter and Cruise Control will come standard in SE models, whilst an integrated Sat-Nav system with Smartphone connectivity will be available in Professional models. There will also be a range of additional options available, such as Active City Breaking with the S models.
With six engines and gearbox combinations in total, delivering between 75 and 100hp, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will average at 15% less than the current version. The 1.6-litre BlueHDi 100 S&S model produces the lowest CO2 emissions in the LCV sector at just 108g/km with both manual and electronic controlled gearboxes. In addition, Peugeot has introduced two Euro 6 BlueHDi diesel engines to the range, which will be available as additional extras.
