    Nissan Reinforces Growing Fleet Stature

Nissan is a growing force in the fleet-sales car market...

Nissan is a growing force in the fleet-sales car market and that fact will be reinforced at the 2015 Company Car in Action (CCIA) event with a sizeable presence.

In the 25th anniversary of the event, Nissan’s corporate sales team will showcase the product line-up and put its fleet credentials on the table.

CCIA, held this year on June 16th-17th at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedford, has established a reputation as the UK’s best and largest arrive-and-drive event and has won support from key motor manufacturers and contract hire and leasing companies. It’s a must-attend event in the fleet sector, with 26 brands on display and almost 300 vehicles available to test drive.

Visitors, who must pre-book, get the chance to see and compare all the cars in one place, evaluate models through test drives, meet suppliers, network with fleet professionals and enhance their knowledge of low-emissions vehicles.

This year, no fewer than ten Nissan models will be made available for visitors to test drive around the track at Millbrook. They include the Japanese firm’s selection of crossovers, the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail, plus the Pulsar family hatch.

But Nissan is also a trailblazer in ecological electric vehicles, and delegates will be able to discover more about the technology behind the cars. Available for test driving will be the all-electric Nissan Leaf, which recorded an impressive 1,200 fleet registrations last year. Visitors can also put its bigger brother, the e-NV200, through its paces, in both panel van and Combi variants.

Nissan will come to CCIA 2015 after a record year for UK fleet sales. In the last year, Nissan has increased its company-car standing, with nearly 64,000 vehicles registered to fleet customers. That’s a rise of nearly 14% on 2013. Nissan is now in with a bullet in sixth place in the country’s fleet-car sales charts.

Corporate Sales Director for Nissan Motors (GB) Barry Beeston said: “Nissan has made great strides in improving its fleet proposition in recent years and we now have one of the strongest and most compelling offerings in the marketplace.

“That development will continue and we look forward to meeting many fleet operators and business car drivers at CCIA and telling them how we’re best placed to meet their needs.”

Any fleet operators interested in taking part in CCIA 2015 can register to take part at www.companycarinaction.com.

In the meantime, firms and individuals can test drive any car from the Nissan range at the Howards Group showroom in Weston-Super-Mare.

Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allow Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.

All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
