How To Pair Your Phone To A Peugeot Entertainment System

Hello everybody, I'm Boris and welcome to another video.

Today you join me at Howards Peugeot where I will be going through a very simple process of connecting your smartphone using the Bluetooth functionality to your Peugeot's entertainment system. It's really easy and very simple, so follow me inside as I explain further. Now for the purposes of this video, any Peugeot that we have here in the showroom will do. But I'm just going to jump in this Peugeot 3008 SUV.

  • So here we are looking at the really nice colourful bright touch screen. However, at the moment, we're on the navigation settings which is not where we want to be. So what you need to do is go down to the layer of buttons just below that look sort of like a keyboard and click on the one that looks like a collection of four small squares.

  • That will redirect you to this screen.

  • So we need to do is go to options.

  • Here we can see there's a varying selection of ways to connect but we're going to click on Bluetooth connection

  • So now what you want to do is go into these settings on your mobile device. I'm using a OnePlusSix which runs on Android and I'm going to click on the Bluetooth and device connections here.

  • Then I'm just going to click on the top section here which has 'pair new device' and a list of varying devices in the local area will appear.
  • Now what you want to do is look for 'BT' which means Bluetooth, Peugeot. Okay, so that's the top one there with the headphones. So if I click onto that. Give him a couple of minutes and then if we look back on the main screen here it says OnePlusSix wants to connect to the system. Except of course you click yes here.

  • And then here it says to complete the pairing with the OnePlusSix confirmed the code 543503. And as we can see that code has just popped up on my phone here. So I'm going to click pair. On my device. And I'm going to click yes on the actual touch screen here in the vehicle.

  • There we go. So now down here we just want to click Okay. We've selected telephone and streaming which is all I want to connect to. That means I can take calls and I can also listen to my music. So we click okay down here and then we have it.

  • Now we need to do is click the music icon on the section of buttons below.

  • So there we are. We're currently listening to Classic FM but if I'd like to change it I can just click on sources up here in the top right and select Bluetooth.

  • And there we go. We are now connected to my phone. And as you can see a piece that I was listening to by a couple of guitarists has come up and it will be playing now.

So there we have it. That was a quick guide on how to connect your smartphone device using the Bluetooth functionality to a Peugeot entertainment system. If you found this useful entertaining then be sure to tell us in the comments section or perhaps if you wanted to see something different to focus our 'How To's' on then let us know because we're always excited to try and bring you helpful informative and entertaining videos. Anyway, that's it for me. I hope you enjoyed. And we'll see you very shortly.

Take care. Goodbye.
