    Howards proud sponsors at Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards

    Howards Motor Group sponsored the Best Restaurant Award at the Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards 2017!

At Howards Motor Group we pride ourselves on keeping in touch with our local community, with sponsorships of local football, rugby and cricket teams as well as supporting local charities. This year, we have also got involved in the Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards, an event designed to support and promote the best of our local food and drink industry. As well as championing local eateries, the awards highlight local producers, local farming businesses, chefs, pubs, and hoteliers, to name a few. The awards focus on supporting local businesses as well as those who aim to care and conserve the countryside and the local environment.

The whole thing is focused on highlighting and supporting local business and is voted for by you! We sponsored the Best Restaurant Award 2017, as voted by you!


And the winner is….  Reeves, Dunster!


Our very own Jonathan Coleman was in attendance to present the Best Restaurant Award and had the following to say about this great event:

“Howards are pleased to continue to support the Somerset Life Food and Drink awards. It is a great way to recognise the top performing businesses and products that are produced in the county as well as championing the talented individuals that work within the sector. It is great to see the passion and pride from the finalists and winners of all the categories on the Awards night.


This year we helped with the judging of the Best Restaurant category which we sponsor and had some lovely meals at the finalists restaurant. It was clear to see that they were passionate about their service and were using local produce where possible. We would like to congratulate all the finalists (Reeves, Clavelshay Barn and Mint and Mustard Taunton). Alas, there can only be one winner and a big congratulations to Reeves at Dunster. A deserved winner. “

Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
