Coffee Morning Howards proves to be a great success

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us in taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning last month! The coffee mornings proved to be a huge success, and we managed to raise a total of £878.81 which will be donated to the Macmillan Cancer Support, contributing towards a brilliant cause.

All of our retailers took part including those located in Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Dorchester and Yeovil, with all retailers holding the coffee mornings on the Friday 25th of September apart from our Citroen Taunton and Honda Taunton dealerships, who held their coffee morning on Monday the 28th of September.

Everyone at Howards clubbed together to bake lots of sweet treats in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The coffee mornings were a huge success, and they attracted lots of customers who kindly purchased the cake and donated money. Employees who didn’t bake also contributed, which all helped us raise a grand total of £878.81.



We want to invite you to our Howards Cake Bake and help us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support! All of our retailers are taking part in the world’s biggest coffee morning at the end of this month, so be sure to visit your local retailer for some tasty cakes!

All employees at Howards are getting involved by donating and baking cakes, all we ask is for you to come and try some delicious treats and in return make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.



This year’s coffee morning is on the 25th of September and it marks the 25th anniversary for the annual event, which first originated in 1990. It started as a local fundraising committee who decided to hold a coffee morning where the general public would mingle and donate. Since then, the charity event has rapidly grown. It has helped raise more awareness about cancer, and most importantly it has helped support thousands of families who have suffered because of cancer.

All of our retailers will be holding the coffee morning on Friday the 25th of September, apart from our Citroen Taunton and Honda Taunton who will be having their coffee mornings on Monday the 28th of September.

Honda Taunton – 10 -3pm 28th September
Toyota Weston-super-Mare – 9-5pm 25th September
Peugeot Taunton – 10-3pm 25th September

Nissan Weston-super-Mare – 10-3pm 25th September
Yeovil – 10-3pm 25th September
Peugeot Dorchester- 10-3pm 25th September

Kia Weston-super-Mare 25th September 10 – 3pm
