After a successful journey to Bristol in the Howards sleigh, the Christmas presents were handed to the staff at Bristol’s Royal Hospital for Children. On Christmas day, all the children at the hospital were given the gifts that were kindly donated by the generous public, which helped lift the Christmas spirit at the hospital.
Lastly, we would like to say a huge thanks to those who were generous and kindly donated toys for this excellent cause!

Howards Needs Little Helpers to Make a Donation to Bristol Childrens Hospital
We are delighted to announce that Howards Motor Group is launching a new initiative to help children who need to stay in hospital this Christmas. The aim is to collect as many donated new toys as possible and provide them to the children in Bristol children’s hospital who can’t be home this Christmas. All our locations across Weston-super-Mare, Taunton, Yeovil and Dorchester will be taking part in this initiative.
Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) opened on 22 April 2001 and was the first purpose-built children’s hospital in the South West. They provide a local service for Bristol children and a referral service for specialist care for families nation-wide.
As Howards Motor Group is a family owned retailer group, our heritage is built on family values and we will thoroughly appreciate any help in donating towards this wonderful cause. We would like to brighten up Christmas day for the children who stay in hospital by providing them with some lovely new gifts to open.
What you can do
Come and visit one of our showrooms between the 1st to the 20th December and join us for a minced pie and a coffee whilst donating a new toy. Once all the toys have been collected they will then be taken to the hospital in time for Christmas day.
It is important to remember those who are in hospital at this time of the year, therefore we ask you kindly to please take a few minutes out of your day and help Howards spread some joy this Christmas. Pop in and see us today!
Any gifts will be warmly received but the children particularly would enjoy: Ben 10, La La Loopsy, Cbeebies, and toiletries for teenagers.
