This year we will be supporting a show garden at the exclusive RHS Malvern Spring Festival which will be taking place on the 5th-8th of May. The show garden that Howards are supporting this year will be called the Woodcutters garden.
The RHS Malvern Spring Festival is an annual event held at the Three Counties showground and has been going strong since 1985. The event opens up the festival season, with it being one of the first major shows of the year. At the show will be stunning show gardens, plants and flower displays.

The Woodcutters garden that we will be sponsoring is based on local garden designer Mark Walker’s book – The Woodcutters story. The book is definitely worth a read if you love flowers, herbs and the natural world, and all profits from this book will be donated to cancer research.

The garden is also receiving lots of help from students attending Weston South West Skills Campus (Locking Road), who will be mentored by Mark Walker and Pete Lane of Weston College. From this experience, students will hopefully gain valuable life skills in trades like landscaping, construction and horticulture, which will give them the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in each industry. After the show garden has been exhibited, it will be rebuilt back at the college for future learning and teaching purposes.
Other businesses supporting the Woodcutters garden include Badman & Badman who are supplying bespoke carpentry and joinery skills, as well as Fountain Timber for milling of timber. Brandon Tool Hire will also be supplying the tools for the build.
Keep an eye out on Facebook and Twitter for updates and progress on the Woodcutters Garden.
