Howards Family Charitable Partnerships Programme - Supporting Our Local Schools

Howards Motor Group are supporting a School in each town we operate in as part of our Howards Family Charitable Partnerships Programme in 2024.

Howards Motor Group are excited to announce the Schools we will support in 2024, as part of our Howards Family Charitable Partnerships Programme. These schools are based in each town we are based in, and mean a lot to both our employees and community.
We believe that investing in education is crucial for the future of our communities, and we strive to make a difference in the lives of students and teachers.

Dorchester – The Prince of Wales School
The donation will be used to purchase 16 Chromebooks for use by all of their pupils.

"Our Vision and Ethos as a school is to create a climate where all learners are welcomed and are enabled to achieve their potential. We seek to be an outstanding school and aim for our children to grow into confident, enthusiastic, and happy learners who develop their abilities and talents to the full and achieve their very best. With the support of our local community, all of our children are offered a wide range of high-quality learning opportunities."

Yeovil – Kingfisher Primary School

The donation will help fulfil their ambition of creating a new ‘No Dig’ Sensory Community Garden for the school.

This garden will be a place where all school children can learn, grow, explore, and eventually feed themselves. Kingfisher Primary is passionate about the environment and enhancing outdoor areas for the whole community, including families and local wildlife. The garden will feature raised beds, sensory plants, a wildflower area to encourage bees, and seating for everyone to enjoy the outdoor space.

Taunton – Parkfield School

We will support finishing off their SEND/Inclusion provision by creating The Nest, adjacent to the SEND intervention room and Sensory room we helped fund this year.

"Our vision is to ensure that pupils become successful learners who enjoy learning, make good progress, and achieve; confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives; responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society."

Weston-super-Mare – Haywood Village Academy

Howards will be supporting the school with the following equipment:

  • iPads for Reception children
  • Sports equipment update (tennis rackets, cones, sports balls, gym mat replacement)
  • Outdoor play bench

Castle Batch Primary School Academy

In addition to our four core schools, we are also going to support Castle Batch Primary School Academy in Weston-super-Mare. Their pledge was so important that we are going to assist with making sure every child has a book.

We are very excited to support these initiatives and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our local communities. Further updates once we visit these Schools will follow, so keep an eye on our social pages!

  • Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allow Howards Garages (Weston) Ltd T/A Howards motor Group to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.

All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
