Representing low running costs, incredible value for money and an excellent practicality rating there’s no surprise that the quirky Citroen C4 Cactus has been crowned Carbuyer’s Car of the Year.
Citroen were awarded the title at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in recognition of the model’s off the wall design and innovative features. The impressive car comes as a stylish and comfortable option at a much lower price than its competitors. One thing that makes the C4 stand out from the crowd in particular is its Air Bumps, which are the noticeable strips on the outer sides of the car giving it an extremely unique design and of course, more importantly, improved safety.
As well as the innovative features the C4 contains a host of other features such as DAB digital radio, USB connectivity, touchscreen and cruise control to help improve your overall driving experience. Those upgrading to the “Feel” version can look forward to leather steering wheel, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, climate control, LED interior lighting and Satellite Navigation.

When it comes to engine power and precision the 1.2 litre petrol option offers an impressive 109bhp whilst the diesel engine option with reduced weight boasts a high MPG figure.
In addition to driving away with the Carbuyer Car of the Year award, the C4 also managed to grab the award for Best Economical Car. Some of the other winners at this year’s Geneva Motor Show include the Ford Focus ST, Audi A3, BMW i3, Nissan Note and the Kia Cee’d.
