New GR Yaris Performance

An exhilarating 1.6-liter, 3 cylinders turbocharged engine is sat front and center in this lightweight hatchback. It’s connected to a GR-FOUR AWD system, a first for Toyota in 20-years. All this and more provides magnificent acceleration.


Suspension

A newly developed MacPherson front strut has been developed allowing a lightweight but rigid setup. While the rear suspension setup is developed with a trailing double wishbone. This suspension setup allows the tires of the car to grip the road on cornering making the New GR Yaris a very agile car.

Engine

The Toyota technicians have created a unique block, bespoke pistons, and a single-scroll ball-bearing turbo that allows a reduction in weight. This is the attention to detail these designs are working to, taking into account each technique, process, and material to build the best engine.

Driving Modes

A 4WD mode switch allows you the driver to control the front and rear torque distribution according to the driving style and road conditions. There are 3 modes, Normal 40:60 split, Sports 70:30 split, and Track 50:50 split.

New GR Yaris Interior Features

The practical yet plush cabin allows for maximum driving ability. GR Ultrasuede sports seats allow for a comfortable yet tight fit keeping you in position when cornering. You’ll have a tight grip on the GR leather sports steering wheel while dancing on the aluminum foot pedals. You are surrounded by plush materials such as the black leather gear shift with red stitching.

Even though this car is lightweight and built by Toyota Cars rally team, they haven’t forgotten the essential interior kit. There is an 8inch multimedia system, with smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and voice recognition. You can control your 6-speaker sound system as you listen to your DAB radio. There is also a multi-information display, allowing the driver to keep an eye on turbo pressure, 4WD mode, G-force and it will indicate when you need to shift gears.
