Exterior Design

The styling of the new Niro Hybrid is eye-catching from every angle. The design idea behind the new Kia Niro focuses on two key elements. Practicality and efficiency all blended together to achieve a sleek and stylish design. The small SUV body shape of the Niro gives it an athletic and purposeful stance. Featuring the signature tiger-nose grille, made up of gloss black elements and framed with polished chrome. The front of the Niro is both elegant and smart. Beautifully sculpted headlights sit flush to the body, with modern bezels moulded into the bonnet line. The aerodynamics of the crossover is made apparent in the body creases which adorn the bonnet and sides of the SUV, smoothly integrated into the polished bodywork. A gradual slope to the roofline, the chrome-edged window line and the beautifully integrated spoiler are all elements that add the graceful and ingenious profile making it a sporty, muscular and modern car with a fresh finish.

The all-new Niro self-charging hybrid is sculpted and streamlined and is full of clever little features to ensure that its efficiency is never compromised whilst still remaining aesthetically pleasing. There are numerous elements included that add to both the efficiency and the comfort of this car including:

  • An active efficient air flap -cools the engine but closes at higher speeds to reduce drag.

  • Rear diffuser - situated below the rear bumper has been specially sculpted to for stability and aerodynamics

  • Rear spoiler - helps to stabilise the body when travelling at speed

  • Aluminium body elements - bonnet and boot - help reduce weight and better handling and efficiency
