Exterior Design

Kia’s electric compact crossover SUV offers eye-pleasing body lines. The car of the future is here now. A sleek curved rear LED brake light sweeps across the back of The Kia EV6. A clean design offers no clutter when looking at this car.

Smooth uninterrupted body lines flow down either side of the vehicle, as you notice the flush-mounted door handles to keep a clean look to The Kia EV6. Around to the front of the electric car and you see a muscular bonnet that dips down into the headlights. There is no need for your standard air grille on this electric car. Sleek angular LED headlights follow through contours of the body lines as they wrap into the wheel arches.

Electric-Global Modular Platform

Interior Design

Kia’s new electric-global modular platform (E-GMP) allows for a diverse interior layout. You may be thinking the compact size of The Kia EV6, just a 2.9meter wheelbase may offer a cramped interior space. You’d be wrong. The 2.9meter wheelbase and the flat floor configuration offer a mid to large SUV interior room for all that occupy The Kia EV6.

Tech and innovation are what you find inside The Kia EV6 cabin. A panoramic dual 12.3inch curved display offers a clear, easy-to-read, and intuitive display for the driver. Kia has added an augmented reality head-up display. This virtual display is on the windscreen and shows you every bit of driving information you need to get to your destination.

Kia has also taken the environment into account when it comes to the interior. The interior seating is made from recycled PET plastic bottles and high-quality vegan leather or suede.

Engine Specifications

The Kia EV6 Two electric powertrain variants — rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. 

Kia has developed an ultra-fast charging system, allowing the driver to charge their car for 4.5mins to cover 60-miles. This is done by Kia’s 800v high-speed multi-charging system of the EV6. When placed on charge you’ll see your battery level go from 10% to 80% within 18-minutes.

This powerful engine is built with towing in mind. The Kia EV6 can tow a maximum capacity of 1,600kg. Allowing for trailers and caravans to be pulled behind this zero-emissions electric compact crossover SUV.

Safety features

The Kia EV6 is simply loaded with safety features. For example, Forward Collision-avoidance Assist gives you a second pair of eyes, always on the lookout for the potential for immediate collision. Lane Keep Assist keeps you from drifting out of your lane due to sleepiness or inattention.
