Matt Murray - March 2024
Matt joined the group last year and since then has changed the accessibility and approach to the levels of IT support across the business. We receive ongoing feedback of how helpful Matt is and regardless of how busy he can be, he always has a smile whilst taking the time to help everyone. Providing an IT service to 300+ employees is not an easy task, especially when it is coupled with multiple complex projects, but Matt makes it happen. Thank you Matt!

Mike Button - November 2023
After a number of nominations over recent months, Mike is awarded with employee of the month for November 2023. The award is based on his commitment, customer centric approach and ability to find solutions that his colleagues see on a day to day basis. This is evident in a recent action where to ensure that a customer was kept happy, Mike gave him his personal sat nav to use whilst the customer was waiting for a repair. This resulted in a very happy customer whose experience was maximised. Thank you Mike and keep up the great work.

Russell was nominated by his colleagues for his commitment to Howards Toyota and always gong above and beyond to help achieve the department targets. During the year he has received multiple nominations, for the support he provides the apprentices, his people centric approach and his overall level of accountability. Neal Evis - September 2023
Accountability and Customer Centricity - We had a brand new MG4 due for handover on Saturday 7th.  All was fine and the car left but the gent returned within minutes with several warning lights on his dash.  The workshop was closed being a Saturday, but Neal happened to of popped in to grab something from his tool box.  He straight away recognised the car and offered to see if he could fix the faults in his own time to get the customer mobile.  He did so and the gent was able to happily drive his new car away thanks to Neal's efforts and consideration on his day off.

Mark Bavin - October 2023
Mark plays a huge part in what makes Nissan and the other brands he comes into contact with on the footprint successful, both service & sales. No job is ever to much trouble and in challenging situations, he always stays calm and find a solution; working to support everyone across service & sales as one team. Mark has been consistent amongst some changes and we want to ensure his 'can do' approach and value he adds to the group doesn't go unnoticed.

Liam is the epitome of the CRM Role, going out of his way to provide excellent service to our customers, recent examples include offering to drop a vehicle back to a customer to save them coming to site or turning a potential customer complaint into a good outcome.

During the on boarding process of Kia Taunton. Paul has been pivotal with ensuring the group systems were developed and set up in a very short space of time. His dedication and agility, aligned with his valued experience ensured he achieved the desired outcome for our group, in what at times were very complex processes to navigate. Andrew Wilson - June 2023
Andrew has been working in the workshop, workshop control and as a service advisor MG. He has gone above and beyond within his role, driving reviews from MG customers and providing a fantastic customer service to each customer that walks through the door. He has also evidenced being of great support to other team members including his apprentice. Overall his energy, positivity and mindset is helping drive the UCC/MG performance and experience for all involved.

Dani has been instrumental in bringing in a new process and rolling it out in the Finance and Administration Teams, not only coming up with the new process but also taking on the task of training the Administration Team in Weston-super-Mare.

Andrew Fassnidge- March 2023
Andrew became the first digital specialist 4 years ago - he has always been and continues to be a pivotal element in the success of our group omni-channel strategy leading by example at all times. His willingness to learn and lead with the training and development of the online/digital team has seen us excel with the online forecourt resulting in an enviable and unique proposition. His enthusiasm and dedication has enable us to offer seamless end to end transactions for our customers and launch the exciting 'Your Howards' and 'Howards at Home' brands.

Nicky Short - Feb 2023
Nicky has gone above and beyond since she has returned to Howards. She was happy to drop everything to help out at the Dorchester site where staffing was low. Her can do attitude has also been noticed elsewhere and we have recieved great feedback from other managers including Mike Rothery, Dave Townsend and Danny Street. She is definitely a worthy winner for employee of the month. Well done Nicky and thank you!

Howards are delighted to work with Donate for Defib WSM for the training and installation of six external Defibs registered on the circuit for the general public's use, as well as Howards employees.
