    The role of a Sales Support Executive is an exciting and fun challenge which for the right person will allow their passion and enthusiasm for Sales, Automotive & Technology to grow!

    This is a demanding role, but the friendly and experienced team in Taunton will be there to support you throughout. We aim to positively contribute to your development within Howards, helping you to succeed professionally.

    Skills, Experience & Education Requirements
    • Digital experience - Confidence with using social media and video presentations.
    • Customer focused - Some previous experience within customer service and/or sales is desirable, however this is not essential.
    • Computer literate - Able to use office 365 package, including word and outlook.
    • Hold a Full and Valid Driving Licence 
    • Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade A*-C or 9-4 in Maths and English.

      ‘Equivalent’ grades include:

      OCR Nationals
      BTEC first diplomas and certificates
      Key Skills Level 2
      NVQs
      Essential Skills (Wales)
      Functional Skills Level 2

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    For our customers and visitors, first impressions are essential. As first point of contact, our Sales Support Executives are responsible for ensuring that customer and visitor experiences are courteous, professional and an advisory service - providing the highest level of customer satisfaction at every opportunity.

    Your passion for excelling in customer service will play a key role within the business.  You will enhance the customer experience digitally by sharing your knowledge of available stock while promoting the benefits of buying from Howards and the Franchise Brand and convert the customer into the buying process.  

    You will work effectively with the rest of the Dealership Team, bringing skills and knowledge that will inspire customers, build commitment and loyalty, and ultimately increase sales.


    Main Duties & Responsibilities 
     

    • Provide a prompt and professional point of contact for customers that enquire into the business in person and digitally from all sources and emulate the same experience they would receive if they were to visit a Dealership.
    • Direct customer queries
    • Be eager to learn and to share your knowledge with customers, using available resources and your own initiative to grow an understanding of Franchise products and technologies as well as developments across the automotive industry.
    • Ensure the dealership and digital showroom is an inviting space for customers. Promote the Franchise & Howards brand, products and technologies whilst sharing information in a friendly, understandable way.
    • Create Vehicle Videos using the agreed format/process which showcase features and benefits and give an accurate view to be used on third party platforms and the Howards website.
    • Support the buying process by completing product presentations.
